border in the north almost to the Assamese plains in the south. There is less forest cover here, probably on account of the age-old practice of s

lash-and –burn agriculture and the cultivated land is much more abundant. Eastern Bhutan includes the six districts of Mongar, Lhuntse, Tashigang, Tashi Yangtse,Pema Gatshel and Samdrub Jongar. In this tour, we will have a great opportunity for photography besides the Bhutan Cultural Tour. The changing of flora and fauna, style of farm houses, farm land, steep waterfall, turquoise and crystal rivers, high point passes, commanding dzongs, sacred monasteries, temples, chortens and smiles of the people from the land of Gross National Happiness. The settlements in the East are hidden in the steep hillsides of remote and isolated villages. Eastern Bhutanese love their home-brewed Arra (rice wine) very much. We can still see the past in the present! It also provides a good opportunity to explore the unexplored places in the unexplored country. In central Bhutan, there is a great variety of people; you will have a good collection of faces of Bhutan with architecture and sceneries. Western Bhutan is the heartland of Drukpa People (Bhutanese People), home to the only International Airport, the capital, the largest, oldest and most spectacular dzongs in the Kingdom. Bhutan is true to its cultural, spiritual and social traditions. Your visit provides wonderful insight into life in the Himalayas as it was and continues to be. For this reason, the country is viewed as one of the last great travel destinations remaining in the world today
