Peak Climbing in Nepal

17 Nights 18 Days Island Peak Climbing

Island Peak Climbing Island Peak is a more technical climb, involving a grade 1 scramble up a rock gully and an easy rock ridge, to a glacier. Above the glacier, a steep snow headwall leads to the summit ridge, which continues, in an incredibly exposed position, to the summit. After the climb we descend to the main Everest trail with its welcome teahouses. This will certainly provide a contrast from our last two weeks ...

16 Nights 17 Days Mera Peak Climbing

Mera Peak Climbing Mera peak is considered one of the major and popular trekking peaks in Nepal. The Peak itself rises to the south of Everest. The ascent of the peak is technically straight forward. However, the heavy snow and the maze of crevasses can make the way longer to the summit. Besides the charm of climbing Mera Peak, the trek to its base camp from Lukla is rewarding for experiencing little-visited

16 Nights 17 Days Pisang Peak Climbing

Pisang Peak Climbing Pisang Peak located Annapurna region and its offers good scope for exploration. The western flank of the mountain is guarded by a hanging glacier and offers considerable challenge. The western end of the ridge is guarded by huge rock slabs, which make it difficult to climb. A German Expedition made the first ascent of Pisang Peak in 1955.

18 Nights 19 Days Chulu east and west Peak Climbing

Chulu east and west Peak Climbing These peaks are part of the Manang Himal, which are quite rightly included in the larger Damodar Himal, the eastern limit of which runs south from Chako and Peak 6687 in a north-to-south direction along the Hunlung Khola, Nar Khola and Phu Khola. To the south it is bounded by the Marsyangdi Khola and the Mesokanta La. To the west its limit is the Kali Gandaki and to the north the Parchekya La ...

17 Nights 18 Days Hiunchuli Peak Climbing

Hiunchuli Peak Climbing Hiunchuli lies in the Annapurna range and it is connected to Annapurna South. Discovered by Col. Jimmy Roberts, it is one of the three major trekking peaks within the "Annapurna Sancturary", to be named by Roberts. The mountains of this area are considered the sacred by the Gurungs who inhabit the region. The other two peaks within the sanctuary are Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak) and Singu Chuli (Fluted ...

15 Nights 16 Days Mardi Himal Climbing

Mardi Himal Climbing North of Pokhara, as the crow flies, this mountain is the most southerly of the Annapurna range. From some viewpoints it seems little more than an outlier on the south-west flank of Machhapuchhare. Mardi Himal is the lowest and perhaps least climbed or visited of the trekking peaks.

19 Nights 20 Days Dhampus Peak Climbing

Dhampus Peak Climbing Dhampus Peak lies North-East of the big Dhaulagiri massif. It is in terms of climbing technicalities an easy mountain to ascent. The overwhelming altitude differences between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges make Dhampus Peak a very exposed spot to observe the scenery from. Having Tukuche Peak (6920m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m) spectacularly near you enjoy the feeling of being part of the extreme ...

20 Nights 21 Days Yala Peak Climbing

Yala Peak Climbing We trek up the valley past Kyangjin to Yala, and climb to the top of Tsergo Ri 5066m, where the views are as spectacular as anywhere in the Himalaya. After completing our climbs of Yala Peak 5520m and Naya Kanga Peak 5846m, we descend from the upper Langtang Valley as far as Syabru, before following a different trail, past Sing Gompa, to the sacred lakes of Gosainkund

18 Nights 19 Days Fluted Peak Climbing

Fluted Peak Climbing Fluted Peak is the highest amongst the "Trekking Peaks" of Nepal. Wilfred Noyce, the first man to summit this shapely mountain with David Cox compared its beauty with India's highest and probably the most beautiful peak, Nanda Devi. This peak is situated in the Annapurna Sanctuary adjoined to Tharpu Chuli and across Hiunchuli peaks. We arrive at the base camp of Singu Chuli in spectacular six ...
